First of all this is now under new ownership as of a few weeks ago. Boy what a difference it made. (We stayed here a couple years ago under the other owner and never went back.)The new owner said she still has a lot to do but she has done an excellent job so. The place is now really clean and neat. Each room has its own control of the air conditioner unit now which is great too. The place is directly on the beach you can sit on the back porch and are about 5 feet to the beach steps. Oh so peaceful. We will go back.
We go there every spring. We have been going for years and we get excited, no matter how many times we visited. My Golden Retriever is as happy as we are. Holly, the manager, goes above and beyond what is expected. Steve, the owner, is also fabulous. We cannot wait until April, 2023 as we will return to our favorite place for 2 weeks. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and decorated beautifully. You are right in front of the beach and it is awesome!!
This is the place if you want to be on the beach. It is right on the sand. Dolphin suite was large , dated with charm. It is stocked with kitchen utensils and a full kitchen. The icebox was in need of defrosting if was fully iced, fully. Views are great ! Close to anything you need. Would stay again. Returned for a second visit. (1 year later)Had a great deck added in back with a great view of the Ocean. New manager was helpful, Place was clean, Ice box was clean. They have everything you would want. A+++
Absolutely one of the most enjoyable locations I’ve stayed at on the beach. Literally on the beach! Furnished with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Host is very hospitable , friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be returning soon . What else can I say ,”Zero complaints “.
This place is so beautiful! You are just steps to the beach and they provide chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc. Steve, the owner, seemed great, and Holly, the manager, was absolutely excellent! Our place was clean and comfortable. Full kitchen with everything you need, along with linens as well. They really do try to provide you with everything. Flagler Beach really is a special sort of beach town with a small town feel. We will definitely be back. Flagler Beach may be our retirement town!
Great place. Very clean and well maintained. Owners are great. If you're looking for a quiet secluded place on the beach away from the hustle and bustle this is it. You pretty much have your own private beach. Will definitely be going back next vacation. And it's pet friendly on a pet friendly beach. We brought our two dogs and they had a blast.
This place is for those who want a quiet, quaint, antique yet clean and private accommodation right on the beach. This is one of the only places you can stay directly oceanfront (not across the street overlooking A1A) in Flagler Beach. The newly renovated first level back patio is out of this world, and I had nothing but great experiences with the owner and the maintenance person. We were even able to check in early. Again, this is not a huge hotel, it’s a very special and charming place for a relaxing and quiet get away. Not only that; you can bring your dogs and it’s on a dog friendly beach. This is a rare gem and I will be back. My only advice is to market this better!!
The manager is questionable in responsibilities in preparing the room upon arrival.
